Cold Laser physical therapy at Feel Good Physical Therapy in Brooklyn, NY

Cold Laser

Cold laser therapy, also called low-level laser therapy, applies light at low intensity to an area of injury. It is called 'cold' because it does not heat the tissue the way therapeutic ultrasound does — you should feel little or nothing during treatment.

It is used as one part of a treatment plan rather than on its own, generally alongside manual therapy and exercise, and sessions are short. Your therapist will tell you whether it is appropriate for your condition at your evaluation.

If you have questions about cold laser therapy or whether it is suitable for you, call the office and we will go through it with you.

What to Expect

One-on-One Care, Built Around You

Your care begins with a one-on-one evaluation. Rather than focusing on the symptoms alone, we establish a cause and effect relationship through accurate palpation and assessment of the body, then build a rehabilitation program customized to your individual needs.
